27 OCT- China’s Hengyi selects Lummus tech for major PP project

Lummus Technology announced in a press release that its subsidiary Lummus Novolen Technology GmbH has been awarded a technology contract by Hengyi Industries for its planned PP project on Pulau Muara Besar Island in Brunei.

Accordingly, Lummus Novolen will not only provide technology but also basic design engineering, training and technical services for the proposed PP unit with a capacity of 1 million tons/year.

The new plant is a part of the $13.65 billion project’s second phase, which includes a 1.65 million tons/year ethylene plant and a 2.5 million tons/year PTA unit.
