19 Apr - Total declares FM on LDPE supply from Carling, France

According to a letter sent to customers, Total has declared a force majeure on LDPE output from Carling, France on April 16. The reason behind the force majeure was cited as disrupted ethylene availability due to a crack in the Trans Alpes pipeline.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be known when the force majeure can be lifted.
The plant has a production capacity of 110,000 tons/year.
