09 Jan – Kem One plans to build new ethylene terminal in France
According to media sources, European producer Kem One is planning to build a new ethylene terminal at its production site in Fos-Sur-Mer in southern France.
The construction will reportedly begin by the second half of this year and the 30,000 cubic meters terminal will be completed by the middle of 2021.
The company’s Fos-Sur-Mer site is able to produce 310,000 tons/year of chlorine and 430,000 tons/year of VCM.
The company had previously announced that there was a possibility of constructing a second ethylene terminal to be able to secure supplies more efficiently for its facilities in Europe.
