07 Apr - Ineos declares force majeure on MLLDPE from Cologne

According to a source familiar with the issue, Ineos declared force majeure on its mLLDPE supplies from Cologne, Germany following an unplanned outage on April 6. The company could not be reached for comments at the time of publication, however.
The company declared force majeure on its LDPE unit at the same site late last year, meanwhile.
The company’s Cologne plant has the capacity to produce around 400,000 tons/year of LDPE, while LLDPE plant has a production capacity of 230,000 tons/year.
